A very tasty barbecue lunch with amazing views of the Great Smoky Mountains! To get to the restaurant you need to take the Anakeesta Chondola lift up the mountain or the Ridge Rambler adventure truck and the restaurant is located in the Firefly Village. The slow cooked pork ribs with the house-made bbq sauce and the hickory smoked chicken wings were delicious! On the wings we tried the barbecue sauce and the buffalo sauce and they were both excellent choices! We added the french fries to the wings to make it a meal for $2 extra! The french fries and the baked beans were also great! The crispy beer battered onion rings were deep fried perfectly and they were definitely worth the $1 upgrade cost! My favorite was the bbg beef brisket sandwich with the house-made chipotle bbq sauce as it was loaded with meat and the sauce was amazing! Tip: They do not have water on tap but they sell bottled water, Pepsi products and beer but you can get your own complimentary water near the beer truck directly across from them. Cost Savings Tip: By your Anakeesta lift tickets after 6pm and they are also good for the entire next day! Or buy an annual pass for Anakeesta for unlimited access for the year for only the price of two trips!
